Violence is Violence

I watched this video on YouTube about a social experiment on a man abusing a woman and a woman abusing a man.  The result was just unbelievable.

Watch the video below and let us know what you think.

My opinion is that “violence is still violence”.  Whether it is done to a woman or a man, violence is violence and should not be tolerated by anyone.

In a husband and wife relationship, it is a give and take.  It is easier to be submissive to a loving husband and it is easier to love a submissive wife.

What’s your thoughts on this?

Real Men Don’t See Women As Sex Symbols

yikey6BBTLately on my Facebook wall I can see a lot of comments and posts on two viral topics which is Emma Watson’s emotional UN speech on Feminism and Bench’s Naked Truth event.  Both topics are contradictory from each other but are in the same backyard – gender issue that is.

I believe that this is something that we should really consider and contemplate on because this “gender issue” is one of the main reasons the relationship between man and woman is challenged for many, many years now.   Continue reading

Oblivious Misunderstanding: Her-Him 1

The Fickle Heartbeat

Contrary to what he might tell you, it didn’t take too long for me to fall in love with him. His smile, his adorable ways of making me laugh, the cringe he makes when he concentrates were all that took to make me fall so deeply for him. It was great, the two years we were together. Is it a Mystery
that only stars can describe
and nature can derive
How can something so lovely
be only expressed by flowers
in a garden, enjoying showers
of the rain that cools summer
but never the warm heart
of a man in love.

Yes, indeed mysterious
The emotion that tickles the mind
Makes me think…indeed
Oh the mind
It can fathom the moon but not this
It can invent anything but not bliss

Use words wiselyEphesians 4:29 says “Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment”.

I love using this passage of Scripture especially when talking about love, marriage, and relationship.  Yehuda Berg, author of the book The Power to Change Everything said, “Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity. We can choose to use this force constructively with words of encouragement, or destructively using words of despair. Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble.” Continue reading

Are You Man Enough To Ask Forgiveness From Your Partner?

Saying-Sorry-03When couples come to us, they would either ask help on how to fix their relationship problems or ask us to actually fix it for them. This should not be the case when you come for counseling. The truth is, many relationships are not fixed by a counselor but rather by the couple themselves.

In many cases, what I realize is that for many men, asking forgiveness from their partner can be the hardest thing to do. In our mindset when we ask forgiveness Continue reading
